Far Cry 6 Expansion Reveal Coming Soon; Reportedly Set in the Multiverse

Ubisoft validated that it will expose Far Cry 6's next growth, Lost Between Worlds, at 10AM PT on November 29th, but didn't reveal any additional information. Either way, we'll understand more quickly. It appears likely it will be yet another wacky story that stretches beyond the typical traditions of a mainline Far Cry game, but to what degree is unidentified. It's also unclear if this will be offered as a standalone experience or if gamers will need to own Far Cry 6 to play it.

Far Cry 6's new growth is set to be exposed quickly and obviously, it will deal with the multiverse. The Far Cry series is a unique and quite unusual series for Ubisoft. It's one of the crucial franchises that influenced the open-world formula of progressing through a world by removing opponent bases and opening new areas on a map, developing an enjoyable gameplay loop. Over the years, Ubisoft has actually attempted to find ways to do more than just taking players to a new island with some crazed villain. In between each video game, there's usually an expansion or standalone video game that takes the basic gameplay mechanics and spins it in a new direction. Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon was a sci-fi shooter heavily motivated by 80s action movies, Primal focused around cavemen, and New Dawn was a post-apocalyptic RPG.
