A fraction from Watch Dogs will appear in the shooter of XDEFiant

After refusing the prefix Tom Clancy, for the upcoming XDEFiant shooter, the UBISoft developer has a little untied, allowing him to bring some more “chips” from his other gaming universes to the future game. And one of these turned out to be a franchise, where hackers are in the lead roles.

Tom Clancy's XDefiant | All Factions Explained! | Other Factions? Rainbow Six and Watch Dogs? According to the reliable insider Tom Henderson, Ubisoft is going to add a new DedSec fraction in the future shooter, which was presented in Watch Dogs. Naturally, the abilities of this group are to hack the enemy’s equipment, and they will also be able to engage in 3D packets and replenish the margin of grenades of their team.

In addition, the insider shared other changes that XDEFiant faced: The Wolves fraction (from Ghost Recon Breakpoint) was renamed Phantoms, and Outcasts (from The Division 2) was completely removed. Also, the replenishment also occurred in the list of cards - the developers added 5 new cards, three arena and two linear. Now their total amount is 15 pieces.

Another innovation was the Firing Range mode, in which players will be able to test the weapon in shooting at moving and stationary targets, as well as check their damage and TTK at different distances.

The release date of XDEFiant has not yet been announced, but Henderson thinks that Ubisoft is aimed for this year. The shooter will be available on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and Stadia.
