Ubisoft: Publisher removes the announcement trailer for NFT platform Ubisoft Quartz from its YouTube

Only yesterday we reported about Ubisoft's plans to beat the NFT trend capital. NFTs are unique, non-replaceable data units stored in a digital directory and can be purchased and sold by users. Today, on 9 December, the designated platform Ubisoft Quartz online is launched and is introduced for the PC version of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon in the beta phase. It allows players, so-called digits — collectable vehicles, weapons and equipment items in the game. At the same time, the publisher has marked the announcement trailer for the platform on YouTube as unexpectedly, as u.a. noticed the colleague of NGC. The reason for this was apparently the incredibly bad resonance that triggered the video.

Ubisoft Quartz NFT Announcement Was So Mass Disliked That The Trailer Got Delisted Although the Quartz Announcement of Ubisoft can still be viewed on YouTube if you use the direct link to the video. But it does not appear in the listed videos of the channel and can not be found in the search of the video platform. Currently dislikes on YouTube are not visible. However, these are more than unbalanced for the Ubisoft Quartz's announcement trailer and should be the reason that the video is no longer listed.

At the time of creation of this article, the number of viewer interactions of the video is 1,200 likes and around 32,000 dislikes. The comments under the video also speak volumes of how little the fans want to have this innovation for Ghost Recon. Even if most can not see the dislikes, the general mood is clear in the comment columns. A user writes: I do not have to see the dislikes anymore, you can just feel it.

Ubisoft remains the plans: Digits are a new way to experience cosmetic items that combine the fun of playing with AAA quality assets and the thrill of the possession of NFTs, which represent unique, collectable pieces of Ubisoft game worlds Of course we still have the trailer in the archive.
